I offer a birth and postnatal service that varies greatly according to the needs of the mother/couple and baby. My role is flexible, and is designed to fit in with your situation - for example, the type of support will differ for a first time mother compared to that for a woman who already has children. |
I will be in contact with you throughout the pregnancy when we can discuss everything from nappies to birth plans. I will be on call for the birth from 38-42 weeks. I will be with you for the labour (home or hospital) and will stay with you until you are happy for me to leave. I will visit you at home after the birth. |

My postnatal role is very much mother-centred. I will help you to build up your confidence. I believe the new mother is the best person to care for her baby. You may need practical help. You may need someone to talk to. You may need both. I will give you all the extra support and help you need until you feel ready to cope on your own again. |

I successfully breastfed all my children. I ran breastfeeding workshops for staff at Hillingdon Hospital having done an 'Invest in Breast Together' course in London. Although I have years of personal and professional breastfeeding experience, I fully support the woman in whatever way she chooses to feed her baby. |
I offer a written contract to ensure mutual satisfaction and peace of mind. I have been police-checked (CRB) and I am fully insured (both for Public Liability and to transport you and your child/children in my car). I am trained in First Aid for babies and children. I am the Doula UK Regional Representative for Hampshire. |
My birth package is £600 and my postnatal fee is £15.00 per hour. |
